Multiple assistance systems will be offered on the 2018 Tiguan that are designed to increase safety and driver awareness. The Tiguan will come equipped with the Volkswagen Automatic Post-Collision Braking System as standard equipment. This system is unique to the Volkswagen lineup. Post-Collision braking will automatically apply the brakes if the vehicle senses a collision, reducing the chance of further damage.
